Job Alert: 8,000 Junior Science Teacher Posts Declared Across Sindh Districts

The Sindh Assembly’s Special Committee on Recruitment has greenlit the appointment of over 8,000 Junior Science Teachers (JSTs) to positions throughout the province.

The administrative directive, finalized during the committee's latest session, establishes that applicants who achieved a minimum score of 55 marks on the IBA Sukkur recruitment examination qualify for these professional inductions. Alongside this decision, the committee maintained the baseline passing threshold of 55 marks for those seeking Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) roles.

Furthermore, leadership authorized the distribution of formal employment offer letters to successful ECT candidates within the upcoming 15 days. They simultaneously instructed educational authorities to schedule subsequent recruitment testing cycles as soon as possible to address outstanding academic vacancies.

This extensive institutional push is designed to clear out long-standing teaching shortages across Sindh's public school infrastructure by utilizing a standardized, merit-first evaluation model.
