New Career Opportunities: Punjab Government Opens Applications for Various Public Sector Roles

The Punjab administration has declared fresh vacancies within the Home Department for the Media Thinktank for Resilience & Counter-Narrative project, providing competitive wages for several contractual roles.

Per the formal notification, submissions are welcomed from eligible and driven individuals for the roles of Video Editor/Animator, Graphic Designer, Social Media Optimization Specialist, Digital Media Monitoring Assistant, and Electronic Media Monitoring Assistant.

This recruitment initiative targets seven total openings. Two positions have been designated for both Video Editor/Animator and Graphic Designer, while a single vacancy exists for each of the Social Media Optimization, Digital Media Monitoring, and Electronic Media Monitoring roles.

Interested individuals are required to file their applications digitally via the Punjab Job Portal. Following the electronic filing, applicants must forward a physical copy of the form, a current resume, certified copies of their ID and residency, academic transcripts, work history letters, two new photos, and supporting files to the Home Department through a tracked courier service.

The deadline for submission is set for 26 May 2026, and any packets arriving after the end of business on that day will be disregarded.

The notice specifies that only those possessing a legitimate Punjab domicile can participate. It further clarifies that these roles are strictly contractual, with potential extensions based on individual output and the conditions of the contract.

Current public sector or semi-autonomous organization workers are instructed to provide a No Objection Certificate from their superiors, and no travel or daily allowances will be provided for those attending assessments or interviews.

The Home Department maintains the authority to terminate the hiring procedure at any point without providing a justification for the decision.
