Hajj 2026 flight schedule has officially launched at Jinnah International Airport in Karachi
KARACHI: The 2026 Hajj flight schedule officially launched today as travelers started reaching the terminal on Saturday evening, according to reports from ARY News.
The inaugural flight, managed by a private carrier, is set for a 3:00 AM takeoff. In the meantime, the documentation and immigration procedures for the travelers have already been initiated.
Representatives from the Civil Aviation Authority, the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Customs, and the FIA are currently on-site at Jinnah International Airport, Karachi, to streamline the departure process.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs estimates that approximately 31,000 pilgrims will travel through the Karachi hub this season. All necessary logistics and support services to aid the passengers have been completed.
The Governor of Sindh is expected to personally bid farewell to those departing on the first scheduled flight today.
Simultaneously, Saudi Arabia’s General Directorate of Passports has reached full readiness for the Hajj 1447H period, with arrival services officially opening today.
Flights carrying pilgrims from Pakistan, Indonesia, and several other nations are slated to begin landing throughout the day.
According to Saudi news outlets, all border control and customs protocols are ready at various entry points to greet the visitors.
Authorities confirmed that immigration desks are now operational across all air, land, and maritime routes. Every preparation is in place to guarantee that the movement of pilgrims remains fast, structured, and efficient.
Cutting-edge digital platforms have been deployed at all gateways to assist travelers during their entry.
Saudi representatives highlighted that processing times at immigration will be notably reduced thanks to the integration of this sophisticated technology.
Additionally, Saudi media noted that specialized personnel will be on duty around the clock to offer assistance to the pilgrims.
Officials further stated that all seasonal operations will be executed flawlessly through the coordinated efforts of every participating department.
