Tamasha Acquires PCB Streaming Rights for Pakistan’s 2026–27 Home Cricket Season
Tamasha, the homegrown digital streaming platform of Jazz Lifestyle Ventures, has acquired the digital streaming rights for Pakistan’s home international cricket season from October 2026 to March 2027. The deal will allow cricket fans to follow six months of Pakistan’s international matches through a single digital platform.
The upcoming season will feature 25 international matches, comprising five Tests, 14 ODIs and six T20Is. Pakistan is scheduled to host Sri Lanka, England, Ireland, Zimbabwe and New Zealand during this period. The package includes all three formats, covering bilateral series, multi-team competitions and Test cricket.
The home season will kick off on October 9 with a three-match T20I series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka. This will be followed by the Pakistan–England–Sri Lanka ODI tri-series, beginning on October 18. These fixtures will launch a busy international home calendar extending until March 2027.
“Cricket is more than a sport in Pakistan; it is a shared cultural experience. Jazz Lifestyle Ventures has long been committed to bringing the game closer to fans through our strong relationship with the PCB, on-ground presence and digital platforms. As Tamasha continues to expand its sports and entertainment offering, bringing Pakistan’s six-month home international season to the platform further strengthens our commitment to giving audiences across Pakistan access to the content they enjoy, from major sporting moments to dramas, reality shows, news and other entertainment,” said Ali Fahd, President of Jazz Lifestyle Ventures.
The acquisition adds to Tamasha’s expanding entertainment portfolio, which caters to viewers with interests beyond live sports. The platform offers a variety of content, including television dramas, reality shows, news and other programming, allowing users to access different forms of entertainment in one place.
Tamasha has also provided coverage of several sports, including football, tennis, hockey, boxing, wrestling, kabaddi and athletics. Its cricket lineup features both international and domestic competitions, giving viewers access to matches across formats and tournaments. The addition of Pakistan’s upcoming home season further strengthens its cricket offering with an extended schedule of live international action.
For fans, the season will provide a mix of traditional Test cricket and the quicker-paced ODI and T20I formats. Meanwhile, Tamasha’s wider sports and entertainment catalogue will continue to offer viewers more options for watching their preferred content.
With its growing selection of live sports, television programmes, news and other digital content, Tamasha continues to expand its entertainment platform, aiming to make popular Pakistani and international content more accessible to audiences across the country.
