Kia Set to Introduce a New Car in Pakistan
Kia Motors Pakistan has teased a new vehicle ahead of the Pakistan Auto Show (PAPS) 2026, sparking speculation that the company may introduce an updated version of the Kia Stonic in the local market.
In a teaser shared on Facebook, Kia showed a vehicle driving through a modern architectural setting with the message, “The next standard won’t follow the old one.” The company has confirmed that the mystery vehicle will be unveiled on September 18, 2026.
Kia has yet to disclose the vehicle’s name, specifications, or other technical details. However, speculation surrounding the Stonic has intensified following the recent discontinuation of the existing Stonic model in Pakistan.
The teaser was accompanied by the caption, “A new kind of presence is about to take the road. Unveiling 18.09.2026 at PAPS 2026.” This wording suggests that Kia is preparing to introduce a vehicle rather than simply announce an update or company initiative.
The timing has further fueled expectations that the outgoing Stonic could be replaced by its updated model. However, Kia has not officially confirmed whether the upcoming vehicle will be the new Stonic or another SUV.
The Pakistan Auto Show 2026 is scheduled to take place from September 18 to 20 at the Expo Centre Lahore, bringing together automakers, parts manufacturers, suppliers, and other automotive industry stakeholders.
Kia will unveil its mystery vehicle on the opening day of the event. Buyers and automotive enthusiasts will therefore not have to wait much longer to find out what Kia has planned for Pakistan.
