Bengal Tiger Spotted Roaming With Two Cubs in Islamabad Residential Area

 

Residents of Gulberg Greens in Islamabad were left concerned after a Bengal tiger and its two cubs were reportedly spotted inside the residential community.

The animals were allegedly seen in B Block, Street 15, as they moved through the area. The reported presence of a mother tiger with her cubs caused additional concern, as wild animals may become defensive when they sense a threat, particularly when their young are nearby.

Following the reports, security personnel stepped up surveillance in the area and advised residents to remain cautious. Families were urged to stay indoors, while children were specifically told not to venture outside until the situation was brought under control.

Residents were also warned not to approach, chase or attempt to track the animals. They were asked to immediately alert security staff if the tiger or cubs were spotted again.

Photos and videos allegedly showing the animals soon circulated across local community groups, increasing concern among residents. Security teams continued monitoring the area in an effort to determine the animals’ whereabouts and prevent any potential interaction with residents.

The incident has also raised questions about how the tiger and its cubs entered the residential community. With a mother and two young cubs involved, authorities face the added challenge of handling the situation carefully while avoiding actions that could alarm or provoke the animals.

Residents have been advised to remain vigilant and follow instructions from security personnel until the animals are located and the area is declared safe.
