Danish Elahi Makes History as Fastest Pakistani Runner at Sydney Marathon

 

Danish Elahi delivered a remarkable performance at the Sydney Marathon, completing the challenging 42.195-kilometre race in 3 hours, 29 minutes and 7 seconds. His achievement made him the fastest Pakistani runner at the event and marked a notable moment for Pakistan in international marathon running.

Elahi was part of a strong group of Pakistani and Pakistani-origin runners who participated in the major international race. His performance reflected the dedication, endurance and preparation required to compete in a full marathon on the global stage.

In the women’s category, Dr Rabia Naeem also produced an impressive result, finishing in 3 hours, 52 minutes and 25 seconds to become the fastest Pakistani woman at the event. Her achievement, along with Elahi’s performance, added to Pakistan’s growing presence in international endurance competitions.
