Empowering Youth: Punjab Releases New-Age Personal Safety App to Enhance Public Security
The Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) has rolled out the NextGen Safety App, a fresh electronic application intended to elevate the protection and security of young citizens throughout the province.
Introduced as part of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s youth-centric programs, the software is engineered to offer users rapid connection to crisis response, expert counseling, and a variety of security-focused operations via a unified interface.
According to the PSCA, the mobile application permits individuals to request assistance during critical scenarios and utilize welfare utilities more effectively via their cellular phones.

The management stated that the project forms part of wider strategies to leverage technology for reinforcing communal security and granting the younger population streamlined access to defense, counseling, and relief whenever required.
The NextGen Safety App can be acquired for installation on both Android and iOS smartphones.
