ISLAMABAD: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has rolled out two cutting-edge functionalities in the Pak ID mobile app's latest update (v5.5.7) to enhance the user experience, according to ARY News. The upgrades feature integrated passport scanning and accelerated biometric authentication, both aimed at simplifying the submission procedure.

Worldwide Reach: Residents across 193 nations now have expanded access to apply for various visa types more conveniently.
Intelligent Data Filing: Subscribers can now snap or upload a passport image directly within the interface. The software instantly pulls vital details, including the applicant's name, document number, and validity period.
Refined Biometrics: Version 5.5.7 debuts a specialized biometric module, enabling smooth facial identity verification for every type of application. To utilize these enhancements, citizens should update or install the Pak ID app via the Google Play Store or Apple App Store for a more rapid and intuitive digital journey.
Dual Modern Capture and Biometric Tools Launched in NADRA Pak ID App The National Database Registration Authority (NADRA) on Sunday published a comprehensive directory of more than 3,000 e-Sahulat outlets established nationwide to assist the public. The record also provides contact details for the operators of these service points.
NADRA representatives stated that these centers provide a range of utility services, such as processing new CNICs, renewing expired identity cards, and other essential tasks.

Furthermore, officials noted that guardians can secure B-forms for children under the age of 10 at these locations, while death certificate registrations and CNIC cancellations are also handled. Authorities emphasized that those in remote regions will no longer be required to travel to main NADRA centers, as these franchises provide all necessary identity services locally.
