Punjab Boards Announce Revised Marks Improvement Policy
The Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen has approved changes to the marks improvement policy, introducing revised procedures for students who miss one or more examination papers.
Under the updated rules, a student’s previous marks will be used for any subject in which they are absent during Part-I, Part-II, or composite examinations. The previous marks will be transferred to the absent paper when the final result is prepared.
The revised policy also applies to candidates who miss a marks improvement examination. In such cases, their result will be declared as “Marks Improved.”
According to board officials, the changes are intended to make the marks improvement process easier and provide greater convenience to students.
