Pakistan Reveals Hajj 2027 Packages Starting From Rs. 1.2 Million

Pakistani citizens planning to perform Hajj in 2027 will be able to complete much of the government scheme’s registration and payment process through digital platforms as preparations for the upcoming pilgrimage season continue.

The government has finalized two package options for Hajj 2027. Pilgrims opting for the standard 40-day package are expected to pay around Rs. 1.2 million, while those choosing the shorter 20 to 25-day package will pay approximately Rs. 1.3 million. Payments under the government scheme are scheduled to begin from August 17.

Pakistan has allocated 107,526 seats under the government Hajj quota. Among these, 30,000 slots will be reserved for pilgrims selecting the shorter-duration package.

A major change for the upcoming season is the increased use of digital services for applications and payments. Instead of depending mainly on physical documents and visiting offices, applicants will be able to use the Pak Hajj mobile application and online portal, making the registration process more convenient and reducing waiting times.

HBL has been assigned to facilitate payments for pilgrims participating in the government scheme. In addition to the government quota, 71,684 Hajj slots have been allocated to private tour operators.

The move toward digital processing is expected to simplify preparations by giving applicants easier access to registration, payment facilities, and other important Hajj-related information through online platforms.

With arrangements for Hajj 2027 now underway, prospective pilgrims will have the choice between regular and shorter stays, along with a more streamlined, technology-driven system for completing essential pilgrimage formalities.
