Meta, the parent organization of Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, is introducing a beneficial new scheme for small ventures in Pakistan. The technology leader is providing cost-free skill development to 1,000 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) via its Small Business Growth Academy. The initiative is scheduled to run from August through November 2026.

Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan expressed support for the venture during a discussion with Meta executives. The instruction will encompass digital commercial tools, artificial intelligence (AI), and modern marketing tactics. It is set to be rolled out across the country alongside local collaborator AtomCamp using a mix of physical and virtual workshops.

AI functions as an intelligent assistant that streamlines operations and enhances productivity. Companies can leverage it to engage with clients, handle sales, craft promotional campaigns, and analyze consumer trends effectively. This course will enable SMEs to establish a robust digital footprint, connect with larger audiences, and expand their ventures.

“This effort focuses on sharpening digital capabilities, broadening market reach, and empowering female entrepreneurs alongside enterprises in less prominent towns,” shared Meta spokespersons.

Minister Jam Kamal Khan highlighted that Pakistan is placing a strong emphasis on technological advancement. “Pakistan’s youthful demographics, rising smartphone adoption, and expanding digital landscape present immense possibilities,” he stated. He encouraged Meta to back the nation's overarching digital frameworks and AI initiatives.
