Jaglot-Skardu Road Reopened for All Traffic Following Flood Closure

The Jaglot–Skardu Road (JSR) has been reopened to all types of traffic after authorities successfully restored the temporary bridge at Sassi Haramosh, which had sustained damage during recent flooding.

The reopening is a major relief for the region, as the highway is a key transport link connecting Gilgit with Skardu and other parts of Gilgit-Baltistan. The restored route will once again provide uninterrupted access for residents, businesses, and travelers.
