Official Statistics: Public Funds Worth Rs. 139.16 Billion Utilized for Hajj 2026 Season
A aggregate of 119,210 Pakistani citizens completed the holy pilgrimage this season through the state program, with cumulative expenditures hitting Rs. 139.16 billion.
Based on published statistics, 77,743 travelers selected the extended pilgrimage option spanning 40 to 45 days. This represented 65.2 percent of the overall public pilgrimage allotment, with each applicant contributing Rs. 1.15 million for the service.
On the other hand, 41,467 travelers carried out their pilgrimage via the abbreviated option, which spanned from 20 to 22 days. They comprised 34.8 percent of the state-sponsored grid, with each traveler contributing Rs. 1.2 million.
The documentation also indicated that 50,114 female citizens completed the pilgrimage via the public framework, constituting 43.5 percent of the comprehensive distribution.
By contrast, 65,182 male citizens utilized the state pilgrimage initiative, representing 56.5 percent of the total participating travelers.
