According to the official report filed at the Cantonment Police Station by the hospital’s security supervisor, Muzammil, more than 2,100 fans were originally stored in the basement vault. However, a recent inventory check revealed that the vast majority—exceeding 1,500 units—had been cleared out. The hospital leadership, which initially dismissed claims of any missing assets, has now publicly acknowledged the deficit.

This development follows just months after a separate scandal regarding embezzled pharmaceuticals at the same institution.
