Breaking News: Government Slashes Domestic Petrol Price by Rs. 74 per Litre
The central administration has declared a subsequent and considerably larger drop in fuel commodity rates on June 19, according to insider accounts reported by ProPakistani.
The cost of petrol has dropped by Rs. 74 per litre. The state has likewise opted to lower the rate of high-speed diesel by Rs. 67 per litre.
Following this recent drop, petrol is now priced at Rs. 299.78 per litre, falling from Rs. 373.78, whereas diesel has dropped to Rs. 311.56 per litre. An authorized release from the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division) was distributed soon after this bulletin to ratify the updated tariffs. The newly introduced tariffs will take effect starting midnight on June 20, 2026.
During the preceding week, the pricing for petrol was lowered by Rs. 4 per litre and diesel by Rs. 2 per litre. On June 12, petrol was established at Rs. 373.78 per litre, while diesel was brought down to Rs. 378.56 per litre.
