Over 128,000 Vacationers Flock to Naran and Kaghan Valley for Eid Holidays

The Naran and Kaghan Valley experienced a massive surge in guests over the Eid holidays, welcoming 128,862 vacationers, among them international travelers, during the three-day period. The area bustled with activity across the entire vacation break as crowds journeyed in droves to take in the northern landscapes. Visitors gathered around rivers, lakes, woodlands, and lush meadows. The crisp climate and scenic vistas established the district as a top pick for families and parties seeking a holiday getaway. The abrupt influx of travelers delivered a major lift to the regional economy. Lodgings reached full capacity across several spots, while eateries, transit operators, and retail vendors enjoyed brisk trade throughout the Eid rush. Numerous residents noted that the festive period provided a welcome lift to their earnings.

To manage the heavy stream of sightseers, the Kaghan Development Authority (KDA) deployed assistance squads at strategic spots like Hussamabad, Kaghan, and Naran. These units aided with vehicle movement, directed sightseers, and reinforced security measures throughout the valley. Gridlock persisted on primary routes heading into the territory, particularly during peak commuting times. Nevertheless, collaborative initiatives by officials helped control the bottlenecks and ensure steadier transit for drivers.
