Green School Initiative Launched to Promote Eco-Awareness in Punjab

The Punjab leadership has grown the Green School Program all over the province, including more than 26,000 schools to help push for a greener way of living.

As stated by Silwat Saeed, more than 7.6 million learners and educators have signed up for the project, representing a big move to make eco-awareness a part of school life.

Authorities noted that nature studies are now part of the lessons, and real steps to save air, water, and power have been put into place across campuses.

Because of this, nature-saving actions are growing within various learning centers.

The project aims to show students how to lead more eco-conscious lives. Officials have also brought in a strict 100-point tracking system, where schools can win a five-star award based on how well they do.

Over 80% of government schools are already part of the plan, and more private schools are joining too. Special learning events will happen in big cities, along with focused training for staff members.

Leaders mentioned that global groups are also taking part in the Green School Program, making the push for a cleaner and more earth-friendly future in Punjab even stronger.
