5G Goes Live at Major Pakistan Airport
The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) has declared Islamabad International Airport as the nation’s first aviation hub to offer 5G connectivity.
According to a PAA representative, travelers can now utilize ultra-fast internet for seamless video conferencing, high-definition streaming, and rapid browsing.
The authority noted that 5G signals are presently operational in the airport’s exterior zones and vicinity, with technical teams working to expand the network's reach into the terminal interiors.
The PAA further indicated that this rollout will eventually encompass other primary airports nationwide, reflecting a broader commitment to upgrading Pakistan's aviation technology.
