Undergraduate entry test registration is open at University of Punjab

The University of the Punjab (PU) has officially initiated the first phase of its undergraduate admission process. Prospective students can now access the online portal to register for the required entrance examination, marking the start of the 2026 academic cycle.

The university administration has declared the entrance test a mandatory requirement for all candidates seeking admission this year. To be eligible for consideration, applicants must complete their online registration no later than the deadline of May 25.

According to an official PU spokesperson, the entrance examination is tentatively scheduled to take place on June 14. The university plans to facilitate students nationwide by conducting the test simultaneously across several major cities throughout Pakistan.

Furthermore, the institution has finalized its evaluation policy, assigning a 25 percent weightage to the written entrance test. This score will play a significant role in the overall merit criteria used to determine final selections for undergraduate programs.
