Official Denies Virtual Classes, Reopening Schools on April 1st
Punjab’s Education Minister, Rana Sikandar Hayat, has formally declared that all schools, colleges, and universities throughout the province are set to reopen on April 1, halting rumors regarding a transition to online or hybrid models. He dismissed viral social media claims as baseless and inaccurate, clarifying that the government has passed no such orders. According to the minister, all learning institutions will return to standard operations with complete physical attendance and will adhere to a routine five-day academic week.
Highlighting the necessity of educational consistency, he advised students, parents, and faculty to ignore unconfirmed reports and to get ready for the return of on-campus sessions. He also guaranteed that academic schedules will continue as intended without any scheduled interruptions, reflecting the government's dedication to preserving stability within the educational system.
